Dear Solar, Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Professional:

Exhibiting at a leading industry trade show abroad can result in tremendous export opportunities for U.S. firms. However, researching the options on countries to target and which shows offer the best market exposure can be difficult.

Trade Show Opportunities - Made Easy

The Commerce Department encourages you to exhibit in the U.S. Pavilion at the SOLARCON India 2012, held September 3-5, 2012 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center, in Bangalore, India. This exhibition and conference, certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, is a premier forum to showcase the latest products, services and applications in the solar, photovoltaic and renewable energy fields in India.

In certifying SOLARCON India 2012, the Commerce Department recognizes the capability and exhibition experience of the U.S. Pavilion organizer, PV Group and SEMI, and the market potential for U.S. companies in India. Exhibiting at a certified show can relieve you of many concerns and provide you with excellent pre-show and on-site benefits to help you make sales. The U.S. Pavilion at SOLARCON India 2012 provides high-visibility for participants as well as offering value-added benefits such as pre-show outreach campaigns by the U.S. Commercial Service staff in India and access to the U.S. Commercial Service booth. U.S. Commercial Service staff will be available at the show to assist participating U.S. firms, and to generate leads and facilitate contacts between U.S. exhibitors and trade visitors.

Substantial Sales Growth

SOLARCON India 2011's U.S. exhibitors collectively reported over 350 trade leads reaping more than $100 million in expected sales. With the support of India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), SOLARCON India 2012 is expected to exceed the 2011 show.

Companies participating in the U.S. Pavilion at SOLARCON India 2012 are provided with a centralized venue to: establish or expand overseas sales and distribution; generate leads; identify licensing and joint venture partners; meet with clients; identify new products; and assess the needs of the Indian markets.
